    In this one hour session, participants will: Discuss the Scope and Cost of the problem
    Identify the harmful effects of substance abuse in the workplace
    Learn to recognize signs of an abuse problem
    Attain effective steps to assist employees in getting help, while protecting other workers and the organization

  • Sexual Harassment: Training for a Harassment Free Workplace 11-12PM

    This course provides information to help managers, supervisors, and other employees understand the significant negative impact of sexual harassment in the workplace. Left unchecked, this inappropriate behavior can shatter not only the lives and careers of individuals and families, it can devastate the productivity and moral of your entire organization. It is critical that all employees and especially managers understand their role in preventing sexual harassment.
    In this one hour session, participants will:
    Define Sexual Harassment and offensive behaviors that could be considered harassment
    Discuss the Scope and Cost of the problem
    Learn about protected characteristics, third-party harassment, retaliation, and other forms of abusive behavior
    See the consequences and potential harm caused by hostile environment and quid pro quo sexual harassment
    Recognize that sexual harassment of any type is a form of discrimination and will not be tolerated

    The widespread use and acceptance of alcohol and drugs in society has impacted the workplace and created special challenges for managers. Performance and safety sink fast when employees abuse alcohol or drugs. Whether or not drug-free workplace training is mandated in your organization, managers need to know how to respond when their workgroup is affected by employees with drug or alcohol problems.

    In this one hour session, participants will:
    Discuss the Scope and Cost of the problem
    Identify the harmful effects of substance abuse in the workplace
    Learn to recognize signs of an abuse problem
    Attain effective steps to assist employees in getting help, while protecting other workers and the organization
